Fond memories of Dennis Seidel’s / Meine Damen und Herren  western drama 10 Meter in den Wilden Westen early this year. A bunch of cowgirls, Nscho-tschi and a mare living in Dawsons Creek. Revenching my dead fam, and helping me hunt down this sneaky bitch Tatjana Thorns! 🤠
The rope scene didn’t make it to the final, but it was much fun to work it with Solène.
We remount the show in Mainz and Berlin this autumn.

There was no way I head back to Berlin without meeting the maestre! He didn’t have much time, and I decided to take a private lesson with him and Iroha. Yea, every minute was worth the penny! They were watching a new dvd when I arrived. Discussing how to turn it into a show. It pictured Iroha suspended in a dark shadowed teahouse.. . Vincent, a tall charmig Frechman was there to translate, we talked for a while befor getting on to the ropes.
I should start tying, he said, since never he saw me rigging, only ‘modeling’ for Tam.
Its ok to be nervous, he said, and I went for something simple, a sitting position in the air. He liked the shapes of the legs, and from there it developed into kind of labing session. He took over and transitioned Iroha, adjusting my lines, it was beautiful somehow.
Second part was a ‘third rope’ intensive, feeling a little honoured to work on his partner and his gote, he often interrupted me, took the rope from my hands, interesting somehow.

Share house back yard in Suginami, chatting about writing ‘shibari/kinaku’ in Japanese. Using the sound or the meaning alphabet? Fabrice wants to see the Kanji symbols, and figures it consists of the parts ‘person who obeys to’ ‘kin’ – the tension, and than there is the ‘rope’ symbol. He likes to interpretate the princess idea into it, but its not working. Yoshiko keeps correcting him and goes on weaving an earing with a golden thread. Its more complicatd and my brain shuts off. The sun is coming around. Keith finished house cleaning and we are ready for lunch.

In the restaurant, when you’re full, the waiter can suggest 別腹, the ‘other stomach’. Not the one for hunger, but for sweets.
