shibari beginner class in july

Hours: 6 – 8pm

The beginner course is directed at learning the basics of Shibari/Kinbaku technique. We start systematically with efficient handling of body, rope, and safety principles. The material contains a wide range of harnesses for floor work. Understanding restriction from the models perspective, but also from the riggers perspective to realise adventurous phantasies or create meditative ties.

Please bring soft clothes and ropes if you have. You can register alone or with a partner.

Hours: 8.15-10.15pm
Costs: 20€/person
(10 class card 160 €)

Topics of the class are floor work and introduction to half- and/or full-suspension technique. You need to know basic shibari, firm column ties and any suspendable box tie -> takatekote/gote.
We have a close look at floor patterns and check if they are suspendable. Lock-off techniques for half-/suspension lines (zuri) on ring, and in the second step on bamboo.
The material also contains: safety principles like friction and tension, pain management for the model, and sculpting the body in the air.

We recommended to attend this class with a partner, if you don’t have a partner, and if you are not sure about the level please contact us.

Yoga & Bondage Kurs

Der Yoga & Bondage Kurs findet wie gewöhnlich statt. Wissenswert ist allerdings, dass der Unterricht von einem kleinen Kamerateam begleitet wird. ‘Filet Film’ dreht momentan eine Reportage für RTL, über meine Arbeit als Balletttänzerin und das Yoga & Bondage Konzept.

Außerdem werden Frances d’Ath und ich vom ‘London Festival of Japanese Rope Bondage’ erzählen, und gegen 23 h eine 20 minütige Performance zeigen.

Thursday April 8th

Todays class will be filmed by ‘Filet Film’ for a reportage on my work as ballet dancer and the concept of Yoga and Bondage.

Additionally Frances d’Ath and me will be talking about last weekends ‘London Festival of Japanese Rope Bondage’, and show a 20 minute Performance around 23 pm.
